A DANGEROUS bend at a busy Ribble Valley bridge was set to be straightened after the latest in a series of accidents damaged the parapet.
The Blackburn Road bridge over the RIver Ribble near the De Tabley Arms at Ribchester had had a history of accidents and near-misses.
Lancashire County Council was preparing a £100,000 scheme to improve the bend.
