I HAVE had the pleasure of helping with collections and deliveries of all kinds of furniture for the charity Blackburn Churches Action Furniture Store.
I was amazed at people's generosity and kindness to help some very poor and needy people, living in our towns.
The set-up and management is superb and the volunteers work extremely hard in all weathers and really do deserve much credit.
Isn't it good to know that so much good work is going on and that people can be so supportive with the practical help of giving of furniture and with finance.
I'm glad to be a volunteer and more are needed.
