THE Grimsargh Players have scooped second prize in a theatre competition.
The group's play Dancing at Lughnasa won the honour at the All England Theatre Festival (West Pennine Division) Full Length Play contest. Frank Hartley also won best director award.
More than a dozen groups took part, presenting almost 50 plays. Other local winners included Preston Drama Club for best wardrobe, with the group's Llyn Fenton and Roy Jameson receiving trophies for best actress and best supporting actor.
