A POPULAR county councillor who died of cancer in March has received two more tributes.
Last week Dennis Golden's 67-year-old mum Marie wept when the Citizen told her that part of a South Ribble road was to be named after her son.
South Ribble MP David Borrow - who won his seat in place of Mr Golden - spoke of Mr Golden in his maiden House of Commons speech. He said he had gained his seat in tragic circumstances and added: "He was a tireless worker for the people of Leyland."
The Mayor of South Ribble Councillor Brenda Wilson planted a tree at St Catherine's Hospice, Preston, on July 10 in memory of Mr Golden.
