Award-winning Canadian trio Corky and the Juice Pigs will give people's favourite Johnny Vegas a run for his money at the Rubber Chicken Comedy Club summer special at Blakey's Cafe Bar on Wednesday.
The St Helens hell-raiser has picked up a cult following thanks to his unique brand of drunken pathos, torn flares and one-liners.
But his star status is under threat from Canadian comics whose fast and furious humour has won them the Canadian and Australian Best Comedy Awards five times. Turn up and decide for yourself. Tickets £8. Doors open at 7.30pm.
