FULL marks to hospitals in Preston which received glowing reports in the NHS Performance Tables.
Preston Acute Hospitals Trust scored 100 per cent for assessing patients within five minutes of arrival to the Accident and Emergency Department.
It also received top marks for arranging first appointment times of less than 26 weeks, as did the Guild Community Healthcare Trust.
Hospital bosses have hailed their success as a 'triumph' following a year of unprecedented demands on the service.
Acute Hospitals Trust chairman Carolyn Johnson said: "It's gratifying to have that recognised nationally and to be able to share the enthusiasm of our staff."
