MID-table respectability and a slice of luck are Blackburn Northern's aims for the remainder of the their Ribblesdale League campaign.
The Pleckgate Road side slipped into the bottom two of the table after last weekend's double defeat, but skipper Mel Gillibrand is confident his side can climb away.
"Inconsistency and poor batting have been our problems this season," confessed Gillibrand. "But we have been working hard in the nets to change that and it is about time we got a good win."
Northern will be looking to get on the winning track against Barnoldswick on Saturday - and go one batter than their rain-affected clash in the opening weeks of the season which ended in a draw.
Fixtures, Saturday: Baxenden v Settle, Blackburn N v Barnoldswick, Cherry Tree v Ribblesdale W, Earby v Gt Harwood, Edenfield v Read, Padiham v Osw Immanuel, Whalley v Clitheroe.
