REGARDING the vandalism at the Darwen flower bed memorial to the children (with their teacher) of Dunblane (LET, July 4), words can not describe this cowardly act.
I hope the culprits realise that the only way they are going to be remembered is from the time they vandalised it.
The main issue should be that the flower bed is reinstated. And the culprits should be the ones to do it.
They know who they are. They could reinstate it themselves. Alternatively, they should make a donation to cover the cost.
God bless the Dunblane families, who will always be in our thoughts.
JANE BARTON, Edge End Road, Great Harwood.
