FORMER England international Andy Gray has signed for Bury on a free transfer.
He has joined the Shakers from Falkirk on a one-year contract after helping them to last season's Scottish Cup final.
Gray's capture is a coup for boss Stan Ternent who made contact with the 33-year-old while Bury celebrated their championship win in Spain.
"I know the lad's capabilities because I worked with him at Crystal Palace," declared an obviously delighted manager. "Andy has a wealth of experience and will be a great asset as we learn the ropes in the First Division."
Gray signed yesterday morning after training with the team all week.
"The gaffer and myself go back a long way. I have total respect for him." declared Gray. "Stan Ternent is the reason I am in Bury."
