CIRCUS skills, puppet making and a basketball roadshow are just some of the activities lined up for children in Hyndburn this summer.
The Council's Leisure Services department has teamed up with Hyndburn Sports Centre, Accrington and Rossendale College, Rishton Primetime, Mercer Hall, Great Harwood, and the Library Services to produce a range of sports and pastimes to keep youngsters busy during the long holidays.
In the borough's parks there will be a variety of entertainment, including Punch and Judy shows, magic and balloon modelling.
Art, craft, dance and drama courses are available at various venues, including kite making, batik work, printing, stained glass, drumming and juggling.
Every weekday morning from 10.15am to 11.45am at Hyndburn Sports Centre and between 10am and 11.30am at Mercer Hall, Great Harwood, children can join in pool fun sessions.
Around the region there will also be a wide variety of wet and dry sports courses.
In the libraries craft workshops will be taking place, including a dinosaur day, amazing magic event and music quiz.
Outdoor events include an art project to create an entrance feature for Accrington Park Woodnook Vale.
All events run from July 21 to August 29. For more details and to enrol on courses contact Accrington Information Centre on 01254 380293.
