HUNDREDS of workers in East Lancashire were sending their boss a teabag in protest over a 4.3 per cent pay offer.
The teabags, sent to £450,000-a-year British Gas chairman Bob Evans by Nalgo members, were to represent the value of their hourly rise offer being equal to the price of a cup of tea.
The teabags were accompanied by the message: "I am worth a good deal more."
