WHATEVER happened to Public Service Broadcasts? Do you remember the days when you were told to "think once, think twice, think bike?"
Since their disappearance we have had a massive upsurge in sloppy driving - people who don't dip their headlights, who only indicate when they feel up to it, take shortcuts around mini roundabouts to beat the person with the right of way - not to mention the hideous phenomenon of road rage.
It is a long time since they were screened, but maybe they could be updated for the 90s audience. They could start with something simple like: "Think once, think twice, think stop showing off with your mobile phone when the lights have changed and get moving!"
