COLNE scored two wins out of two at the weekend in the EW Cartons Lancashire League.
Ben Johnson starred with 105 to open their innings against Church, who fell 80 short of Colne's 210-5. Against Haslingden he made 74 as they reached their reduced target of 156 with four wickets in hand.
Burnley had a disappointing two days without gaining a point. In the first match they reached 166, with Michael Brown (41) giving good support to Dale Berkenstein (85), but couldn't match Ramsbottom's 167-8. The pro top scored again on Sunday with 89, but Rawtenstall won by four wickets.
Nelson lost to Enfield but bounced back to beat Todmorden, while Lowerhouse followed up defeat to Haslingden by sharing the points with Bacup.
Padiham, third in the Vaux Ribblesdale League, had Andy McNicholas to thank for an unbeaten 65 which helped secure a five-wicket victory against Oswaldtwistle. Chasing 188, Padiham reached 192-5.
Earby scored an impressive 206-5 with Nigel Pickles making 74 not out and Jonathan Harvey 65, but Great Harwood knocked a quick 162-5 to win on faster run-rate.
Barnoldswick's Ian Scothern hit 66 as his side set Blackburn N 171-8. In reply they cruised to 175-4.
Graham Bardsley reached his half-century but couldn't prevent Edenfield scoring a six-wicket win over his side, Read.
