A TALL, broad Red Indian is being sought in connection with a lunatic asylum break-out in Oswaldtwistle!
Oswaldtwistle Players are desperate to track someone down to play the Indian for their forthcoming stage production of the Oscar-winning film One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, which is set in a mental institution.
Doris Snape, from the Players, said: "He has to be six feet tall or over - the bigger and broader the better!
"He needn't have acted before as we can train him. The character is on stage more or less the whole time, but in the first half he pretends to be a deaf mute and in the second half he is still not over-burdened with lines!"
The play is due to be staged at Oswaldtwistle Civic Theatre in October and anyone who wants to audition for the part, which will require rehearsals on Tuesdays and Thursdays, should ring 01254 885909.
