THE Motorway Superwalk '97 is poised to become one of the biggest charity events ever to hit East Lancashire.

The event will take place on the new seven-mile route of the M65 on August 31.

More than 1,300 entry forms have already been returned but organisers are aiming for 10,000 and they want YOU to do your bit for the East Lancashire SuperScan appeal!

Whether you want to walk the full 14-mile stretch or just tackle a couple of miles, every penny will will count.

Over the next few weeks the Lancashire Evening Telegraph will be publishing the names of every entry.

The list of entrants already includes teams from East Lancashire firms, health workers and individuals of all ages. Some of the following names represent group entries including families and firms and clubs
