DENTAL health experts claimed 100,000 young teeth could have been saved from decay if fluoride had been added to the region's water.
Regional health bosses accused North West Water directors of ignoring the suffering resulting from the area's "appalling" record.
The attack came after a survey showed North West 14-year-olds were at the bottom of the dental health league.
