A SKILLED workforce is vital to the success of any company, especially those working in aerospace technology.
To keep pace with its growing order book, Darwen company Brookhouse is looking to modern apprenticeships to train up young talent.
This year it aims to recruit one clerical and four engineering apprentices for the group's manufacturing headquarters at India Mill.
Organised in conjunction with Blackburn's Training 2000 scheme, the apprenticeships combine employment with college study for a job-related qualification.
Business development manager Keith Slater said: "I believe Brookhouse has a great future. We are very much a growing company and see apprenticeships as an investment in the skills and ability we need to continue our success."
