VANDALS smashed more than a dozen windows at Deepdale Junior School causing £700 worth of damage in an attack on July 20.
A year ago the school in Deepdale, Preston, had toughened windows fitted following a spate of vandalism.
Headteacher Judith Beeston said: "The vandals must have caused lots of noise doing the damage but no-one reported it.
"People should be more vigilant. Money spent on repairs is money taken away from buying books."
The school is waiting to see if the government will grant funds to pay for a high security fence around the grounds on St Stephens Road.
