FULWOOD Amateur Association FC has arranged pre-season friendlies which are to be used as a benefit season for Alex Rawson and Warren Beattie.
All games will be played at Lightfoot Green, Lightfoot Lane, Fulwood, Preston: July 28 (7pm) v Blackpool; July 31 (7pm) v Wigan Athletic; August 2 (3pm) v Manchester United.
Both players have been with the club for more than five years and have turned down several chances to move on.
Being a totally amateur side, the club felt it could repay them with a benefit season - the first time Fulwood Amateurs have done this for any of its players.
Gates are expected to total more than 2,000, with the admission being £1 adults, 50p OAPs and children.
Programmes will be printed for all these games.
