A 3D model of Burnley Wood made by children is helping to put the voice of people power in the limelight.
The model, constructed by pupils at Burnley Wood primary school, has been the centrepiece of a series of get-togethers called 'Planning for Real', where people who live in the area have their say about what should happen to make a better future.
It was used for two sessions at the Conservative Club and at the youth club to offer a bird's eye view of the district.
Information collected this week will help town planners on topics ranging from traffic problems, crime and safety to improving the environment and community life.
The final chance for people to take part is on Saturday, July 26, from noon until 4pm as part of a fun day at the recreation ground on Parkinson Street when residents will be able to air their views on a video box.
The idea of having a week-long think tank came from community groups, Groundwork East Lancashire and the Neighbourhood Initiative Foundation, with Burnley Council and the Shell Better Britain Campaign footing the bill.
