GYPSIES who set up an unofficial camp at Atherton have moved on.
Chanters' estate residents complained when travellers drifted on to farmland near their homes and the gypsies left a few days later.
Locals are monitoring the situation and steps are being taken to prevent trespassers' access.

PUBLIC transport users in and around Leigh have a chance to learn more about services available in the region when Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive hold a Road Show in Wigan on Saturday.
Staff will be at The Galleries shopping centre from 9am to 5pm to answer questions and pass out information about buses and trams in the county.
