THE army has paid tribute to Lieutenant Colonel Paul Kelley the commanding officer of the St Helens-based Territorial Army103 (Air Defence) Regiment of the Royal Artillery who collapsed and died while walking with a group of officers on Swirral Edge leading to Helvellyn in the Lake District.
His three companions tried to revive 44-year-old Lt. Col. Kelley without success and a post mortem will determine the cause of death.
