TWO thieves pounced on a woman in an alley off Church Street in Lancaster and stole 5,000 French francs and £100 on Friday evening.
They snatched her shoulder bag which also contained her bank card, personal items and Filofax. Police have issued a description of the two offenders.
One was was in his early 20s with short, fair hair and wore a green shirt. His accomplice was in his early 20s with short hair and an old style army camouflage trousers.
