HUNDREDS of East Lancashire holidaymakers lost cash in a travel firm collapse. Others were among the 2,500 stranded in Europe.
Land Travel, which claimed to be Britain's biggest coach tour operator, collapsed owing £2 million.
Coaches already on the continent were ordered to head home immediately and liquidators warned there was no prospect of anyone getting money back.
