MOTORBIKE champion Carl Fogarty has won his battle with a parish council to go ahead with alterations at his Tockholes farm.
The former world superbike champion lashed out at the council after an objection to a planning application for a garage and gym beside his home. The parish council claimed the building was obtrusive and broke planning restrictions in the green belt.
The angry biker pledged to have nothing more to do with the local community.
But Blackburn with Darwen Council bossed urged the planning sub-committee to approve the application.
Mr Fogarty will also be allowed to keep a tennis court but an application for a new stable has not yet been dealt with.
