STAFF at Greyhound Ford, Accrington, are celebrating after reaching the finals of a national competition for motor dealers. The Whalley Road dealership reached the last four in the quality award section of the 1997 Motor Trader Industry Awards.
Representatives attended an awards ceremony hosted by Jill Dando at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, attended by around a thousand people from the motor trade.
Greyhound's quality manager Tony Singleton said afterwards: "It's the first time we've entered and we think we've done exceedingly well to get to the last four. We were slightly disappointed not to win, but there's always next year!"
