A FLEET of lorries will soon be spreading smiles across the land - thanks to a new marketing campaign from Barnoldswick-based Silentnight Beds.
The firm's delivery trucks will be brightening up traffic jams with giant-sized pictures emblazoned on their sides.
The designs feature the firm's hippo mascot in a series of 12 strange situations, ranging from old master paintings to famous film scenes.
Silentnight is also hoping people will 'lorry spot' and call a special phoneline printed on the side of the vehicle.
In return they will be sent a postcard of the design.
The images are the creation of Burnley company, Fleur de Lys Design, run by Kath Fairburn.
She said: "I'm sure they'll make people smile.
"Normally, lorries are rather boring things - we've brightened them up a bit."
