BEN Sergeant's bosses don't mind when they hear he's on the fiddle!
For the 19-year-old worker at British Aerospace, Samlesbury, has won a major national award after making a violin out of copper and brass.
Ben won £100 after winning the Institute of Sheetmetal Engineering Award for craft excellence.
"This is a tremendous achievement by Ben as the competition was very tough and as the winner he is now recognised as a leading exponent of the art of sheetmetal working," said Jeff Benson, BAe's engineering skills manager.
