LANCASHIRE Lynx will be looking for a home victory in the Divisional Premiership when Second Division rivals Carlisle visit Deepdale tomorrow, kick off 8pm.

Last Sunday Lynx travelled to First Division Whitehaven and they shocked the home side in the first half by going in ahead at half time. However, the strength and size of Whitehaven took its toll on Lynx in the second half as they ran out comfortable winners.

Coach Kevin Tamati is again beset with injury problems. Influential forward Steve Taylor will miss the game with rib damage. And he joins Milton Finney, Simon Smith and Neil Parsley on the sidelines. His likely replacement will be Carl Briscoe who was unavailable last Sunday.

The Whitehaven game also saw the return of long term injury victim Craig Fairhurst. Also introduced was ex-BARLA international Andy Rasburn after two impressive displays in the Alliance side.

Carlisle started their campaign with an easy victory over Barrow. Star of the show was Kiwi stand-off Jamie Stevens.

Fortunately for Lynx this was his last game for Carlisle this season having now returned home. A player they will have to watch is scrum half Tane Manihera who ran Lynx ragged at Gilford Park in the league match.

Lynx will select from: Fairhurst, Waring, Solomon, D Jones, Allday, P Jones, Kelly, Briscoe, Ruane, Francis, Molyneux, Walsh, Roberts, Byrne, Donno, Westwood, Rasburn, Norton.
