I WOULD like to thank Mr Alf Wright, the organiser of the monthly 'Music Hall' held at Blakey's, in King George's Hall, Blackburn.
I am the activities organiser at a residential nursing home in Blackburn. We usually take a group of our residents along to see this first-class show.
However, due to a misunderstanding on my part, on dates, we missed last week's show.
But when I contacted Mr Wright to apologise, he actually rang a few entertainers and they have kindly donated their services, and are coming across to the nursing home to entertain our residents this week.
Thank you Mr Wright. Now a group of disappointed people will soon be a happy bunch.
PAULINE TAYLOR, Springfield Clinic, Blackburn.
