EAST Lancashire scored a Royal hat-trick with the first visit by the Queen in almost 20 years.
Buckingham Palace confirmed that the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh would visit Blackburn and Burnley later in the year.
Their trip would be the third Royal visit to East Lancashire in less than 18 months, following visits by the Prince and Princess of Wales and Princess Anne.
