A BLACKBURN mum-to-be has been appointed operations partner of Rawtenstall accountants Kingfisher.
Shelagh Brownlow, 33, a farmer's daughter from Oswaldtwistle, joined the firm as a chartered accountant in 1994.
The London University graduate is expecting her first child in October.
Shelagh completed her accountancy training in London, before working at Accrington accountants Halpern and Woolf.
She said she was delighted with the partnership and enthusiastic about the future of the practice.
