A FILTER firm is helping clear the air for hospital patients in the Middle East.
Burnley based Interfilta has won a contract worth £66,000 to supply air filters for the Abu Dhabi health authority.
The 5,000 filters will be installed in the air conditioning plant in the hospital.
"The Middle East is an area we are looking to expand into so we are particularly pleased to win this order," said Chris Howarth, Interfilta's export sales manager.
"We've almost doubled our export turnover to £3 million in the past three years and are now looking to expand our markets into China, Japan, South Africa and the Eastern Bloc."
Interfilta of Burnley has also recently installed special filters at Jersey International Airport to remove aviation fumes from the air in the departure terminal.
