ANGRY patients left their sick-beds in an amazing protest over student nurses losing their jobs.
The demonstration was sparked after students at Blackburn Infirmary who had finished their three-year training were told there were no posts for them.
Patients were so annoyed that seven nurses were to go that they held a banner-waving protest at the hospital entrance.
