DESPITE several requests for 'sleeping policemen' to be placed on Ailsa Road, in Shadsworth, Blackburn, children living there are still in danger from the heavy traffic.
In some cases, drivers mount the pavement to pass each other, when children are on it.
I've noticed no shortage of safety precautions for children on other estates in Blackburn.
So who is responsible for this deplorable state of affairs? Don't these children matter to the powers-that-be?
A MOUNSEY (Mrs), Rothesay Road, Shadsworth.
