AGE Concern thinks grandparents are wonderful and, each year, runs Grandparents Day to celebrate them. This year it's on September 27, when everyone can tell their grandparents how much they care.
But because grandparents are so important, we are conducting research to look at their roles within families.
We want to hear from as many grandparents as possible and would appreciate your readers' help in finding out more about the grandparents of the 1990s.
We want to know why your grandchildren are important to you? How have you been able to help members of your family and what would have happened if you had not been able to help? What are the two best things and two worst things about being a grandparent?
Age Concern would appreciate your views. Please write to me.
