A FALCONRY centre is taking local youngsters under its wing thanks to help from British Aerospace.
The firm's military aircraft division, which employs more than 12,000 in Lancashire, has teamed up with the Yorkshire Dales Falconry and Conservation Centre to provide a free entry scheme to the centre for children.
A donation from BAe has helped the centre, near Giggleswick, produce more than 10,000 badges to give local children free entrance.
"Without BAe's assistance we would have been unable to offer children this education opportunity," said Suzanne O'Donnell of the centre which keeps birds including owls, eagles, vultures and hawks.
