AN East Lancashire man was honoured by the Queen for his bravery in the 1985 Manchester holiday jet disaster.
Hero airline purser Arthur Bradbury was awarded a Queen's Gallantry Medal for his courage in the disaster, which claimed 55 lives.
Disregarding his own safety, the Helmshore man stayed at his post to help terrified passengers escape the blazing inferno.
