JUSTIN SMALLEY fell by the wayside as Wayne Cooper won the latest pro-am tournament at Rileys Snooker, Preston.
The Bradford ace beat Hull's James McGowan 3-1.
Cooper's opener was tight, just scraping through against Adam Jackson from Manchester in the last frame.
McGowan also had a tough start, just beating Preston's Leigh Robinson 3-2.
He accounted for Smalley in the semis 3-1, the Preston man being the only pro left in the competition of the many who started out.
