I WAS shocked to read that charlatans professing to be psychics are practising in the Hyndburn area. As usual it is Christianity that is left to deal with the fall-out of this pagan practice.
How councils can condone these 'magic shows' is beyond me. The terrible psychological harm that can be caused by these fakes auguring doom and gloom cannot continue.
Desperate people seeking reassurance in life prove easy targets for these so-called clairvoyants. As a Christian it pains me that it is only after pagan mysticism fails to console people that they finally turn to God.
