MP Terry Lewis wants to give football back to the fans. And, in a motion in the House of Commons on Thursday, he backed the establishment of a "football task force".
He noted that its aim was to give the senior game back to the supporters and recognized the safety imperatives which led to the demand for all-seater stadia.
However, he believes that low-rise standing room paddocks can be safely installed, providing cheaper accommodation and the singing areas for which many soccer fans crave.
