A WHEELCHAIR-bound Parr man is trying to trace the adopted son he hasn't seen for more than 20 years.
Peter Penketh (54) from Hammond Street, adopted Robert O'Neil back in the 1970s when he was 12 years old. The two lost contact when Robert went to live with some friends and moved away from the area.
However, Mr Penketh now thinks that Robert may be living in the Haydock area and he told the Star: "I would really love to see him again. He must be in his 30s by now and is possibly married with children so I might even be a grandfather."
ANYONE who knows the whereabouts of Robert O'Neil can contact Rachel Herrity at the Star on (01744) 611861.
