THREE masked raiders burst into a St Helens post office on Tuesday afternoon getting away with a haul of cash.
The robbery took place at Eccleston Hill Post Office on Prescot Road at 5.25pm on Tuesday, August 5 when the gang launched their raid. They pushed a postman out of the way, causing slight injury and threatened the postmistress before escaping with the money. Police believe one of the robbers was black and wore glasses but no other identification was made.
