I WOULD like to thank the kind person who handed in the £100 which my husband accidentally left in the cash dispenser at Barclays Bank, Darwen, on August 5.
We had just returned from holiday after a horrendous journey when our friend's wallet containing all his holiday money had been stolen.
The mistake my husband made was due to tiredness.
Losing the money put the tin hat on an awful day. We thought the chances of getting the money back were pretty remote, so it's nice to know there are still some honest people about.
Thanks for restoring our faith in human nature.
