I HOPE people can see how the council are trying to restore the lovely parks in Blackburn, and will start using them again.
Sadly, it won't work while teenagers push and kick young children, even on what is supposed to be a fun day, as happened on Sunday at Corporation Park, to my seven year old grandson in front of his mother and me.
A teenage girl pushed him to the floor and left trainer marks on his back.
The rangers and the police were very good and said they would do all they could to catch this thug.
I couldn't go after her as I am disabled and in a wheelchair.
It is very upsetting when you have a lovely day out with your family and end up having to take your grandson to hospital.
