NINE-year-old schoolboy John Adams passed his maths A-level, and won a place in history.
John, who gained a grade C, was the youngest person ever to pass an A level examination.
The youngster from Ashfordby, Leicestershire, set a record in 1986 when he became the youngest holder of a maths O-level.
The football-mad maths wizard was half the age of most of the other candidates taking the exam.
