A COUNCILLOR urged parents to take stronger action as part of a campaign to crush the growing gaming machine "epidemic".
Blackburn councillor David Belton wanted parents to write to MPs and organise petitions to try to help youngsters kick the habit.
He said: "We have got to get together to demand stricter legislation. The age limit should be 18 years rather than 16 years."
