THIEVES have ram-raided an Unsworth store for the second time in less than a year.
Raiders smashed their way into the Healds Fourways store, on Sunnybank Road on Wednesday (August 6) night grabbing £4,500 worth of cigarettes.
Owner Mr Peter Heald, who was alerted at 1.30am yesterday, described the raid as being similar to the one carried out in November.
He said: "It was the same sort of operation as last time.
It seems a crowbar was used to pull up the shutters and then the store was ram-raided. Again cigarettes were stolen."
Police investigations are underway. They are looking for a stolen black Vauxhall Cavalier, from Salford, and four youths.
