FIREBUGS struck at an empty school block, damaging a new training centre next door.
The blaze was the latest in a string of arson attacks on the former Everton High School in Manxman Road, Blackburn.
The fire started in a pile of rubbish in the roofless gym block and smoke poured into the £160,000 Youth and Community Services Training and Resource Unit, opened only a month before.
