IN these days of spiralling costs and, all too often, indifferent service, it is gratifying to cite some of the amenities on offer at our local library.
Up to 10 books may be borrowed at any one time and a reserve system enables readers to enjoy prize-winning novels and those publications whose high price precludes their purchase.
